Do you have an emergency plan in place to protect you and your family? If you needed to evacuate your home right now, do you have at least a half tank of gas in your car to get you to a safe place? Do you know how you would transport your pets? If your electricity went out at home for several days, do have bottled water and non-perishable food in your pantry?

If you don’t have answers to these questions, then this event is for you!

The California Office of Emergency Services is hosting the 14th Annual Preparedness Day:

Date: Saturday, September 14, 2019
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Old Sacramento

The event is FREE and will help you get started on preparing for an emergency. It is a family and pet friendly event, and there will be live K9 demos and public safety rescue operations.

We will also be volunteering at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter booth so stop by for a visit, say hi and let us know how we can help you!

P.S. Emergencies are not just limited to catastrophic events. There have been countless times our regular clients have had family emergencies and needed to leave town immediately. We know life happens and have been happy to help care for their pets with short notice. If you would like to make us a part of your emergency preparedness plan, Contact Us to set up a meet n’ greet. We would be honored to help you in your time of need.
